Massage Cupping is a modern form of vacuum therapy by creating suction and vacuum pressure. Massage Cupping is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesions and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.
Note: Cupping often times will leave marks on the skin called a “cup kiss” that look similar to bruising, but doesn’t feel like one. The more restricted the tissue is, the greater chance of color appearing, lasting any where from 12 to 72 hours.
